Artist Statement
This piece contrasts the tension of dread with the release of relief through a carefully structured color palette. The palette blends shades of pale mint and soft sky, representing relief, with storm gray and near black, evoking dread. The arrangement clusters darker tones in the top left corner, symbolizing building pressure, and gradually transitions into softer hues that create an opening toward the bottom right. This dynamic transformation reflects the seed's theme of tension and release through colors that symbolize ancient fire and the spiral of emotions. The broken pixels act as intentional disruptions, enhancing the sense of imperfection and adding depth to this emotional journey.
