Artist Statement
This artwork explores the emotional dichotomy of trust and suspicion through a zigzag flow with a mirrored layout emphasizing dissonance. The palette, drawn from contrasts of ripe greens and honey golds, represents warmth in trust against the cool undertones of deep olive and acid green to signify suspicion. The central conflict happens through an interruption of symmetry—broken pixels represent flaws in perception and unsteady foundations, while the edges define boundaries. This duality creates a dynamic tension that is visually felt.
