Artist Statement
The emotional tone draws from the dynamic tension between emptiness and desire, illustrating a journey of contrast through color. The warm colors of yellow and orange represent desire, bursting forth in blocks that suggest movement and intention on the top half. The cooler tones of deep blue and muted purple signify the expanse of emptiness below, framed by edges that echo a sense of isolation.
