Artist Statement
This artwork embodies the juxtaposition of fear and hope through a contrasting palette of dark violet and soft gold. The outer border, composed of shades of dark violet, signifies fear with its jagged edges. In contrast, the inner grid utilizes soft gold and pale green in a rising pattern, symbolizing hope and upward movement.
