Artist Statement
This artwork portrays the emotional dichotomy of vulnerability and strength through its contrasting color blocks and the layout. The left half conveys strength with dense, dark colors suggesting a robust foundation, while the right half embodies vulnerability with lighter, more fractured hues, resembling a soft, maze-like structure. The collision occurs in the center where the colors meet, creating an area of tension and imbalance, as if strength is battling against the fragility of vulnerability. The palette of black, dark violet, soft gold, and pale green evokes a spectrum from fear to hope, depicting the complexity of the emotional landscape suggested by the seed.
