Artist Statement
This artwork captures the emotional dichotomy of vulnerability and strength. The color palette consists of deep reds and grays to represent strength and vulnerability alongside soft pinks for quieter, more exposed fields. The main collision occurs at the center, where denser, stronger colors contend but also coexist with lighter stripes of vulnerability. This tension evokes the struggles between heaviness and lightness, providing both stark contrast and layered depth, symbolizing the broader existential themes from the seed.
