Artist Statement
This piece explores the emotional duality of panic versus control through a carefully curated palette of dark navy, black, and dim cyan hues, creating a somber background that speaks to themes of stability and weight. The distribution of colors juxtaposes dense clusters against quiet, untouched spaces, evoking feelings of chaos contrasted with calm organization. The patterns reflect the seed's notions of confinement—clusters representing chaos and open spaces symbolizing control. Broken pixels introduce a sense of imperfection and humanity within the structured chaos, serving both as echoes of love and betrayal.
