Artist Statement
This piece embodies the emotional struggle between fear and hope. The palette of black, dark violet, soft gold, and pale green evokes a contrast of dense pressure and illuminating hope. The left side features jagged, fractured patterns, mimicking the chaotic nature of fear, while the right side introduces a soft glow that rises, suggesting hope. The split vertical layout emphasizes this dichotomy, creating a visual push and pull. Broken pixels introduce imperfection, enhancing the theme of emotional conflict.
