Artist Statement

This artwork explores the tension of quietness against significant pressure, embodying an inward spiral flow that transitions from dense clusters of color to expansive quiet spaces. The palette combines soft hues like faint peach and off-white to represent quietness, contrasted with stark, heavy colors like dark navy and compressed red, which symbolize pressure. The main collision happens diagonally, with darker hues clustering on one side while softer tones dissipate into a lighter expanse, representing clarity against confusion. The broken pixels disrupt the symmetry, echoing the inherent conflicts in the theme of pressure versus release, while still maintaining a tangible rhythm through organized chaos.
