Artist Statement
This artwork embodies the emotional tension between restlessness and peace through contrasting color placements. The palette of earthy greens and warm gold represents the memory of calm tempered by the pulse of restlessness. The upper half, dominated by muted tones, reflects peace, while the lower part introduces sharper contrasts and brighter accents, illustrating the motion of anxiety. The main collision occurs in the center, where the digital noise of restlessness intersects with the smooth fields of tranquility, creating a layered narrative of conflict and resolution. The broken pixels intentionally disrupt the patterns, further enhancing the sense of precarious balance.
