Artist Statement
The emotional tone encapsulates a struggle between safety and exposure, where a soft outer layer offers limited protection over a vulnerable center. The palette of shelter green and pale skin signifies a soothing yet uncertain ambiance, while cold white introduces a stark contrast representing exposure. The main collision occurs in the center, where the patterns of dots (representing safety) collide with threads (symbolizing exposure), creating visual tension and rhythm. This results in an uneven distribution of colors, suggesting moments of pressure and release throughout the piece.
