Artist Statement
This artwork captures a tension between clarity and chaos, embodying the emotional battle of signal versus noise. The palette consists of dark navy and black for density, alongside dim cyan to introduce moments of clarity reminiscent of signal paths. Quiet fields dominate the composition, punctuated by disruptions in the form of ‘broken pixels’ which represent the interference and false echoes described by the seed. The central collision occurs in the middle rows where bright connections clash with dark voids, echoing the persistent struggle between exposure and shelter.
