The emotional tone captures the push and pull between longing and resolve, represented in the composition by soft contrasts of color. The palette, consisting of burnt orange, dark red, charcoal, and gold, signifies warmth and depth throughout the piece, evoking a sense of nostalgia and urgency. The main contrast occurs where pulse marks (representing longing) intersect with lattice structures (representing resolve), predominantly arranged in the center, suggesting a collision between emotional states. This intersection serves as a metaphor for broken connections, reflected by the incorporation of 'broken pixels' throughout, which disrupts the otherwise steady rise of the lattice, creating a sense of tension and anticipation.
