Artist Statement
This composition explores the tension between clarity and chaos. The palette blends 'signal green' and 'hot magenta' to portray a vivid emotion against 'static gray' and 'dead black' which embody interference and noise. The main contrast occurs through the juxtaposition of smooth 'stripe' patterns with sparse 'dot' patterns, creating a visual echo of beating pulses interrupted by static. Overfill in the corner allows for a sense of overflowing pressure, with quiet backgrounds suggesting distance and void. The interplay between vibrant accents and muted areas fosters a dynamic narrative that echoes the central theme of struggling signals against overwhelming noise.
