Artist Statement
The emotional tone reflects a struggle between profound emptiness and intense desire, highlighted through the palette of warm oranges and muted blues. The warm colors represent desire, while the cooler shades and negative space suggest emptiness. The main contrast occurs centrally, where warm pixels collide with cooler, representing an overflowing signal against containment. The seed’s narrative of 'hunger vs. restraint' shaped a rhythm of flowing colors and disordered patterns, with a few broken pixels to add imperfections and evoke a sense of longing.
