Artist Statement
This composition embodies the emotional dynamic of tenderness and rage, contrasted by the calmness of muted colors and the turmoil of saturated tones. The palette features deep blacks to express rage, and soft pale blues to introduce tenderness, allowing both emotions to collide within the framed layout. A central pattern of pulse marks (representing rage) collides with the veil-like bands of blue, suggesting an interplay between an overwhelming force and a soothing presence. The flow moves inward, illustrating a rising tension from the edges toward the center, where the conflict culminates. Broken pixels create interruptions in the smooth transitions, fostering a sense of unease amidst the gentle textures. The negative space remains strategically positioned to suggest quiet amid the chaos, ensuring readability in the grid structure.
