Artist Statement
This piece explores the emotional tension between rage and calm through contrasting color placements: hot reds collide with cool pale blues, depicting an explosive center reaching outwards while cooler shades embody containment and peace. The black and white hues introduce structural integrity against chaotic aspects, creating a bounding ring that leaks emotional bursts. The zigzag and noise patterns suggest the inner conflict, while broken pixels symbolize disruption and imperfection, translating the seed into an emotional landscape that emphasizes the push and pull between the two feelings.
