Artist Statement
This composition explores the emotional duality of love and betrayal through a clash of warm and cool colors, which symbolize the complex interplay of feelings. The palette, dominated by reds and pinks contrasted with dark maroon and muted gray, highlights the tension between affection and deception. The main collision occurs as the warm, stair-like patterns of love converge into the colder, grid-like structures of betrayal, suggesting an underlying conflict.
