Artist Statement
The emotional tone reflects a balance between control and surrender. I chose a palette that includes deeper, muted tones of blackened plum and iron gray contrasted with warmer, brighter accents of small orange and muted cream. The contrast collides in the center where more vibrant pixels gather, representing overfilled pressure. The layout encapsulates an island of warmer colors amid quieter fields, suggesting the struggle between emotional density and space. Patterns of noise represent surrender while constellation-like shapes indicate control, forming a continuous dialogue across the grid.
