Artist Statement
This artwork embodies the emotional tension between 'emptiness' and 'desire' through a contrasting palette of warm reds and cool grays. The central area consists of brighter colors to signify desire, with darker shades surrounding it to represent the encroaching emptiness. The pattern of broken dots conveys fragmented desires while the frame encapsulates the feeling of protection and confinement, echoing the 'falling' theme in its descending flow from top to bottom.
