Artist Statement
This piece captures the emotional interplay between restlessness and peace through a contrasting palette of deep navy and dim cyan with touches of black and white. The center reflects a pale calmness, surrounded by a chaotic swirl of darker colors creating a sense of motion and discord. The two halves almost mirror each other, interrupted by intentional broken pixels, symbolizing the unresolved nature of memory versus motion. The dominance of darker hues evokes tension, while the white patches represent fleeting moments of tranquility.
