Artist Statement
The emotional tone captures the tension between safety and exposure, using a palette that plays on warm browns and soft greens balancing bright pale skin and cool whites. The mirror broken layout introduces asymmetry, where the softness of the center clashes with the overwhelming weight of the darker edges. The collision occurs at the center, conveying a sense of both protection and vulnerability, echoing the protective vessel against the exposure of pale edges. The broken pixels create intentional disruptions representing the inevitable leaks in our emotional shell.
