Artist Statement
This artwork embodies the emotional tension between relief and dread through a palette that balances cool and warm tones. The use of pale mint and soft sky symbolizes relief, while storm gray and near black introduce a sense of dread. The main collision occurs in the center, where lighter colors break into the darker background, creating a dynamic interaction that suggests an inward spiral of emotions.
