Artist Statement
The emotional tone is derived from the duality of trust and suspicion, represented through an interplay of dark and light colors. The selected palette of reds and blacks against pale blues and whites creates a stark contrast between warmth and coldness, echoing the tension of the two emotions. The collision primarily occurs in the center of the grid where dark shadows meet softer glows, symbolizing the struggle between unchecked suspicion and the stability of trust. The grid climbs upward, depicting a sense of rising hope while embracing chaotic fragments—these broken pixels represent moments of doubt against a backdrop of resilience.
