Artist Statement
The emotional tone of loneliness versus connection is explored through a dramatic contrast between dense clusters of dark colors embodying isolation and lighter hues symbolizing fleeting connections. The palette of red, pale blue, white, and black evokes strong emotions, where the red conveys intensity and the blue introduces a calm that interrupts the heaviness. The structured chaos of colors radiates from the top left corner in a diagonal flow, with an off-center arrangement emulating the idea of a solitary presence amidst a vibrant background. The intentionally placed broken pixels reflect fragmented memories, reinforcing the theme of connection against a backdrop of isolation.
