Artist Statement
This composition explores the emotional dichotomy of fear and hope through contrasting palette choices and structural arrangement. The tension between sharp, angular blacks and soft, luminous golds signifies fear's chilling grip versus hope's warm embrace. The left half features dark violets and blacks in a jagged pattern, symbolizing fear's chaotic influence. In contrast, the right half introduces pale greens and soft golds in a framing design, embodying the quiet rising signals of hope. The zigzag flow adds rhythm, while the placement of broken pixels ensures a sense of imperfection, capturing the rawness of these emotions.
