Artist Statement
This piece explores the emotional tension between trust and suspicion, represented through an interplay of warm and cool tones. The palette consists of hot coral for warmth, blood orange for energy, and charcoal for shadow, providing a distinct contrast that suggests moments of clarity amidst uncertainty. The arrangement creates an upward flow, evoking a sense of rising hope, while diagonal falls introduce moments of disruption. The broken pixels symbolize fragility and resilience, appearing sporadically to echo the emotional conflict. Overall, the collision mainly occurs around the central area, where colors violently meet, representing the heart of trust and suspicion's struggle.
