Artist Statement
The emotional tone captures the struggle between control and surrender, embodied in the contrasting patterns of fragmented bursts (control) and gentle lines (surrender). The palette of muted plum, soft cyan, and lavender gray provides a melancholic yet calming presence, evoking both tension and release. The central collision occurs in the middle of the grid where the broken dots of control experience an outer flow from the structured grid of surrender. This invites a visual dialogue between containment and overflow, symbolizing the psychological journey within the emotional framework.
